Create an applicant account to begin the online application with the Office of Higher Education: https://ohe.ct.gov/ARC/AdmissionRequirements.shtml

Once you sign up for your online account, you can begin your application and save your progress as you go. You do not have to complete it in one sitting.

During the online application, you will:

Upload your resume.
Provide three references who will be contacted via email to comment on qualifications, work experience and potential as a teacher. References may not be friends, neighbors or family members.
Complete a Personal Essay describing why you want to teach in your specific content area and your experiences working with youth (between 800 and 1,200 words).
If applicable (review Testing Requirements), submit the Praxis Core Waiver which can be found here.
If required, submit the GPA waiver request.
Pay the non-refundable application fee upon submission of the online application.

Though you'll submit the application, and some additional application requirements online, you will also need to request that additional documents be sent to ARC as hard copies. The checklist walks you through which documents to submit and how to submit them.
