About

In the spring of 2015, the Bolton Public Schools and community stakeholders developed a five year Strategic Coherence Plan that outlines the core values, beliefs, and student outcomes of the district. Our collective vision of the learner, known as the Portrait of a Graduate, defines the qualities and attributes that we expect all Bolton students to develop in order to be successful in college, career, life and as global citizens. We enjoy a small student-to-teacher ratio and are proud of the many awards and achievements our students have made in academics, the arts and athletics. We encourage our students to discover their individual talents and interests through participation in our extracurricular offerings and community service experiences.

Bolton High School earned the 2016 National Blue Ribbon and in 2017 was recognized by the CT State Department of Education as a School of Distinction for the third consecutive year. Our outstanding team of administrators and faculty in the Bolton Public Schools is committed to engaging in collaborative work with families to continuously improve our efforts to focus on challenging and supporting our students. Our schools foster an environment focused on respect, responsibility and compassion for others to maximize academic engagement and achievement for all students.
