There is a strong sense of community and pride throughout Danbury Public Schools. Danbury Public Schools operates in collaboration with the NEA Danbury, a labor organization that represents the dedicated teachers who work within Danbury's public schools. The starting pay rate for an educator with no experience is $50,159.

Our district has an Educators Rising affiliate chapter for students. Educators Rising is a national membership organization with school-based programs that help young people explore teaching.
