Waterford Public Schools is a community of learners that fosters and supports high aspirations, ensuring every student acquires the skills and knowledge necessary to be a responsible citizen, prepared to contribute and succeed in an ever-changing world.
The Waterford Public School District serves approximately 2,600 students in grades pre-K-12. Located in southeastern Connecticut, the district’s facilities include three elementary schools, one middle school and one high school.
All three elementary schools were opened in the last 10 years, and the middle school was recently renovated. Waterford High School welcomed students in April 2013. The Waterford community strongly supports the public schools, reinforcing the Waterford School District motto of One Team, One Purpose ~ Putting Our Students First.
