Weighing your career options? Determining your professional path is a big decision—one that comes with a lot of questions. Sure, you could do a quick Google search for answers, but why not head to an expert source for information?

TEACH Connecticut’s Talk to a Teacher program offers you a chance to do just that. Just sign up with one of our advisors to chat via phone or video call. Calls last up to 30 minutes, and you can always sign up for more time. We’ve got some experienced and passionate teachers ready to hear from you.

Ask any question

This is your chance to talk through all of your thoughts, feelings and concerns about teaching with a current educator. Here’s stuff we hear a lot: How do I get started? Will my personality fit in the classroom?  What requirements do I need to meet? What is it like to teach, day in and day out?

Our advisors get to know your background and goals, and they’ve been in your shoes before. Their advice will help you take the right next step, whatever it is.

Who's on the other end?

Our advisors know what you’re going through (after all, they’ve been there before), and they’re excited to chat with you!
